A note from Jessica Guarnaschelli: “I was sad to miss our 25th anniversary! My daughters, Sylvie (11) and Alice (8), are currently in fifth and third grade, respectively. I am working in radiation oncology in Cincinnati. We look forward to visiting the SPS campus soon.”
John Harden shares this exciting update: “I just joined Olson Lewis + Architects as their newest principal. The firm is located in Manchester, Mass.”
A note from Rocio Ocampo-Giancola: “Greetings from wonderful San Diego, Calif. We have celebrated Christmas, Hanukkah, and El Día de los Reyes in our household. I have been learning guitar for a year now after busy days of work. Professionally, in 2019 I completed additional training in EMDR. I work as clinical supervisor at McAlister Institute’s Adult Outpatient Addiction Substance Recovery Center. As a licensed therapist, I provide training, supervision, and individual therapy. I love what I get to do. It can be rough some weeks, but seeing people reunited with themselves, their children, and family is my life’s work. Providing mental health services and helping people heal is amazing work. My husband and I are heading to Mexico City for a couple’s mini-trip over the MLK holiday. We will be visiting the Piramides del Sol y de la Luna. Life is good.”

Emily Chang Brands shares: “Life in D.C. is good: This fall, I was fortunate enough to share a fabulous evening in Brooklyn, singing along to Mana with Jenn Connelly Garcia-Alonso, and I am looking forward to spreading some holiday cheer in the D.C. area with Michael Shaheen and in Orlando with Alana Pietragallo Bedoya. I’ve also thoroughly enjoyed some captivating reads lately, including Three Women (published by none other than our very own Ben Loehnen).”
Alexandra Leigh, her husband Nathan Brown (Hamilton High School Class of ’96, go Aggies), and their three children joined Katherine “KT” Taylor ’93 in Midway, Ala., for a gorgeous December weekend of quail hunting and spirited five-card draw. Bea Brown shot her first quail thanks to the education from KT and her husband, Aitor.

Ayesha Adamo sends this update: “It’s been a busy year for me, taking my short film, We Are The Prototypes, around to festivals. Just a few weeks ago, I was down in Atlanta at Dragon Con, where we were the opening film of the festival and took home the Spirit of Dragon Con Award. It’s a fun film with a cult classic vibe – a synth-pop Spinal Tap for the YouTube generation – with Jedi kittens (see www.wearetheprototypes.com for the trailer). Last summer, Liza Maddrey made it out to the premiere at the Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles. I’ve also had the chance to catch up with a few other Paulies in my travels: Austen Earl on the West Coast, Michael Reisman ’98, Nick Yap in between his surfing adventures, and, most recently, Lily Wachter in New York. Hope to see more of you all soon!”
