Community: Old Pals Dine Out and Catch Up

Alumni from the Forms of 1953-1959 gathered for lunch and socializing at Sardi’s Restaurant in New York City on January 23, 2020. The group of 32 SPS friends enjoyed an afternoon of food, fun, and fellowship.  Special thanks to Ed Harding ’54, who has so graciously organized an annual lunch for his own form for several years, and has extended the invitation to members of surrounding form years. “What started as a lunch for the Forms of 1954 and 1955 has expanded in both directions, resulting in more than 30 intrepid alumni gathering in mid-January,” says Harding of the event. “It was a cheery meeting of old pals, and a delightful ray of sunshine in dreary mid-winter.” Thanks also to Jim Hammond ’53, Nat Howe ’55, and Harald Paumgarten ’56, for their assistance in encouraging attendance among their formmates for this year’s gathering.
